Iskwalado, from the word ‘iskwala’ in tagalog, is a common tool used by tradesmen to measure, draw or ensure right angles. This refers to the theme of having uniformly 40 x 40″ sized canvases in the exhibition.
Now in it’s fifth iteration, the show is meant to give an example of a broad and varied scope of Philippine contemporary art.
Iskwalado V opens on November 12 6:00 PM and runs until the 25th, at the Art Center of SM Megamall building A.
This exhibition is curated by Galerie Anna.
